Budget LiFePO4 batteries are a gamble — some deliver honest capacity, others barely hit 80% of their rated specs. I tested the Elefast 330Ah over 3 months in my Sprinter to find out where it falls.
The capacity test: I drained it from 100% to BMS cutoff (10.5V) at a steady 20A draw using a resistive load bank. Result: 312Ah delivered — 94.5% of rated capacity. That's excellent for a budget battery. By comparison, the SOK 206Ah I tested previously delivered 198Ah (96%) and a cheap Amazon 200Ah only managed 162Ah (81%).
⚡ Expert tip
Cycle the battery 3-4 times between 20% and 100% when you first get it — the BMS cell balancing needs a few full cycles to equalize all four cell groups. My initial capacity test showed 295Ah, but after 4 cycles it settled at 312Ah as the cells balanced.

About this tool
Build quality is decent but not premium. The case is sturdy steel (heavier than aluminum-cased competitors at 38kg). The BMS is a 200A continuous / 250A peak unit — adequate for most van builds. Bluetooth monitoring works through the Xiaoxiang BMS app (not the prettiest app, but functional). The heating pad is a bonus — it activates below 0°C and warms cells before allowing charge, solving the winter charging problem without external hardware. What I didn't love: the terminal posts are M8 instead of the more common M10 — you might need different lugs. And the Bluetooth range is shorter than advertised — barely 3 meters through a cabinet wall. For monitoring, I'd still pair it with a Victron SmartShunt for reliable SOC tracking.

What's the warranty on Elefast batteries?▼

Can I parallel two Elefast 330Ah batteries?▼
