Why this calculator exists.

In 2021, I bought an empty van to hit the roads of Europe. Insulation, bed, woodwork... everything was fine. Until the dreaded stage of the electrical system.

I spent sleepless nights on outdated forums from the 2000s, trying to understand the difference between Watts and Amp-hours, and deciphering obscure Excel spreadsheets.

The result? I ordered the wrong cables, almost burned down my 12V inverter on the first day, and lost 3 weeks of hassle.

Being a developer, I decided to solve this problem once and for all! I built the tool I dreamed of having: a no-nonsense, brutally honest calculator that spits out exactly what you need, down to the thickness of the last cable.
